ACCEDER-E program: INTERSOS Lab for the work inclusion of vulnerable subjects
The “ACCEDER-E – Inclusion, Training, Work” Program has come to an end, which has seen the ATS of which INTERSOS Lab is a part engaged in training activities aimed at vulnerable subjects .
The project, financed by the PON Inclusion 2014-2020 and promoted by the National Office for Racial Anti-Discrimination within the Department for Equal Opportunities of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and implemented by Invitalia, was carried out in partnership with Programma Integra , a social cooperative which 2005 carries out activities aimed at promoting integration paths for people in conditions of social vulnerability, and the Gay Center, an association that promotes services, initiatives and culture for the well-being and rights of homosexuals and transsexuals.
The objective of the project - which involved the recipients for an entire month - is to promote the progressive socio-labor integration , through access to the self-employed and dependent labor market, of disadvantaged individuals at high risk of discrimination and marginalization, placing the attention on the importance of training to promote an escape from situations of particular vulnerability.
In line with these objectives, the INTERSOS Lab trainers Mario Di Sepio and Giorgia Vignola proposed training and work support activities aimed at equipping the recipients with knowledge and skills to promote orientation and integration in the formal economy .
On the one hand, the focus was placed on the language of the working sector, analyzing the job offers and the analysis of the technical skills and soft skills required. On the other hand, indications were provided on the drafting of the curriculum or the preparation of the motivational letter, the reading of the contracts and salary slips.
The acquisition and development of these basic skills is a key factor in facilitating access to the world of work for those who find themselves in conditions of vulnerability, job exclusion and socio-economic precariousness.
In this sense, an important vehicle for change is represented by training , which INTERSOS Lab promotes and supports.
